syllabus & timetables

The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the contemporary world religions (other than Christianity, which is covered thoroughly in other religious education courses). The course syllabus includes giving presentations, visiting sites outside the school, writing a reflection journal/ learning log about the course and taking part in the discussions both in the classroom and in the course blog. All of these activities contribute to your final grade at the end of the course.

You may choose any Finnish upper secondary school level Ue4- book available for your primary information source or use something general like “Religions in the Modern World”  2nd edition ed. by Woodhead, Kawanami & Partridge/ Routledge. There will be no exam at the end of the course so handing in your learning log ON TIME is essential !
